As a service to our customer base we like to provide Boston construction and development news.<\/h2>\n<p><em> Reprinted from <a href=\"https:\/\/boston.curbed.com\/boston-development\/2018\/8\/7\/17660368\/one-dalton-boston-tallest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CurbedBoston<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p id=\"VUYQne\">This <a href=\"https:\/\/boston.curbed.com\/boston-development\/2018\/6\/22\/17489532\/one-dalton-boston-finished-opened-four-seasons\">has been a long time coming<\/a> and now it\u2019s here: The 742-foot Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences One Dalton Street\u2014a.k.a. One Dalton\u2014is scheduled to officially top off on August 7.<\/p>\n<p id=\"Us0Lnx\">The 61-story spire <a href=\"https:\/\/boston.curbed.com\/boston-development\/2018\/2\/27\/17056152\/boston-tall-buildings-why-none\">is the tallest new tower in Boston<\/a> since 200 Clarendon opened in 1976. <a href=\"https:\/\/boston.curbed.com\/maps\/boston-tallest-buildings-towers\">It\u2019s also the city\u2019s third-tallest building<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"1lKEvg\">And, due to myriad reasons that include construction costs, a dearth of sites, and shadows, One Dalton will likely be the last Boston tower\u2014the last New England tower\u2014of more than 700 feet <a href=\"https:\/\/boston.curbed.com\/boston-development\/2018\/2\/27\/17056152\/boston-tall-buildings-why-none\">for a long, long while<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"xNa8gE\">One Dalton is due to include 215 Four Seasons hotel rooms that the international hospitality firm will manage and 160 luxury condos (which Four Seasons will also service).<\/p>\n<p id=\"bUQsbT\">The architect is a collaboration between Cambridge Seven Associates and Henry Cobb of Pei Cobb Freed. Cobb, incidentally, designed 200 Clarendon (formerly known as the Hancock).
